Oak
Engineered reclaimed European Oak.
There are several hundreds of species of trees defined as Oak. They vary according to
their location throughout the world and differ in many of their characteristics.
European Oak differs significantly from American Oak, commonly found in old barns and
warehouses spread throughout the US (which have their own undisputed beauty).
Rich in very attractive grain markings, boards of oak have been prized since the Middle Ages for use in
interior panelling of prestigious buildings such as the debating chamber of the British House of Commons in London, England , and in
the construction of fine furniture.
Using our Antique European Oak as a top layer, we replicate the original looks of the 17th-
19th century floorings found in northern and central European Historic towns and cities.
