Elm
Engineered reclaimed European ELM.
Elm wood was valued for its interlocking grain, and consequent resistance to splitting, with
significant uses in applications that required durability. Found throughout the northern
hemispere, from Siberia to Indonesia, It has served as a material for constructing complete
housing structures.
Elm has been noticed for it's beauty throughout history, remembered as the "Langton Elm"
in England's Sherwood forest and "Joe Pullen's Tree" in Oxford.
Despite it's admirable looks Elm has been used as construction material due to it's
availability in certain areas of Europe in earlier ages.
We reclaim the wood that has served these vintage constructions for decades and
centuries and offer our customers this finely textured flooring achieved by carefully
selecting and elaborating.
