Chestnut
Engineered reclaimed European CHESTNUT.
Related to the Beech family of trees, the European Chestnut tree has provided
construction wood for prestige houses. Being similar to Oak in being decorative and very
durable, they have been used for paneling, flooring and furniture.
Due to disease, American Chestnut wood has almost disappeared from the market. The
European species has been affected lately by a similar infection.
By reclaiming old Chestnut wood that had served past generations and recycling it into a
beautifully textured engineered floor, we conserve the looks that can still rarely be found in
French noble houses and offer them to our premium customers.
